Showcasing over 30 artists with more than two thirds from New Mexico and no imports. In a setting that is both eclectic and tasteful, Calliope shows both regional and nationally known artists. Founded in 2018 by Artists Barbara Harnack and Michael Lancaster, this gallery carries some of everything including blown glass, pottery and ceramic sculpture, steel and outdoor sculpture, painting and mixed media, a wide selection of jewelry, folk art, outlaw and outsider art, found object assemblage and more. Recently featured on page one of the Wall Street Journal and other National media, the experience is fun, beautiful, and a little edgy. Whether you are seeking a handmade table setting or a unique one of a kind painting, or wearable art, jewelry, or accessories, you can find art that is accessible at Calliope.
